I am Celest...This is my spot.
This blog features random stuff that I wanna share with you.
In life, experiences are countless...thoughts and ideas are endless. Definitely worth sharing.
Let's live our lives, embrace every experience, face the world with an "I'm ready for you" attitude.
Live...just live it...
JUST WHEN THE CATERPILLAR THOUGHT THE WORLD WAS OVER...IT BECAME A BUTTERFLY
Happy Hearts Day people! I started Hearts Day with a hearty breakfast. A great way to start my day. After all, who doesn't like eating?
Whatever your plans are for today, remember to share a part of yourself to others. Make someone happy, make someone smile - SPREAD SOME LOVE LOVE LOVE!
Sharing this video with you for Hearts Day! The song is entitled "VALENTINE" by another YouTube discovery - Kina Grannis.
I really am inspired with girls who play the guitar. I wish I could do that too so that when I feel blue, I'll just strum those strings and sing my tune. Oh well dreamy dreamy dreamy me!
Enjoy the song! Go ahead and be someone's Valentine today..... :)
So it's this awaited time of the year, to some a dreaded one...or to others just one of the ordinary....whichever it is to you, Valentine's Day is almost here!
Whether I have a date or not on V-Day, I personally regard it in a positive vibe. I think there are a lot of ways to spread some love and to feel the essence of the occasion. So go on and date! May it be with a special someone, with your best friend, your family, your girl friends or yourself. Celebrate the Season of Hearts! Share some love to a stranger, to a kid on the street, make someone happy.
Whoever you're going out with on Hearts Day, here are some outfit ideas that you might consider:
1. Formal Dinner Date - Little Black Dress
2. Casual Date - Color it RED
3. Friendly Date - Keep it BLACK & WHITE
4. Movie Date- A BLAZER to keep you warm
5. Date with Girl Friends - A SKIRT for a Girly Vibe
Apart from the outfits and makeup, do not forget to wear THE most important thing of all...trust me, this will capture hearts - YOUR SMILE! You'll never know, it might just make someone's day!
After my "subtle hiatus"...I'm back! Been so busy lately so I haven't had time to blog. But here I am alone on a Tuesday afternoon, drowning myself in a pool of job searches. It gets so consuming sometimes you know, so might as well take some time off and blog.
About two weekends ago, my friends and I participated in a photoshoot organized by some friends in the office. I'm not really the "poser" type. Not really comfortable being photographed solo to say the least but in my quest to try something new, I gave it a shot! And so how did the "Vintage" concept come about? Well, one of the organizers of the shoot (and by that I meant Damian) asked me what kind of concept do I want so I instantly volunteered a "Vintage Glam" sort of concept. Got inspired with Anne Curtis' pictures from her Freeway ads.
Thanks to such good photographers Damian, Lyra, Kent, Christian, Faye, Ryan & Edfel. Here are some photos taken from the shoot.

Most of the outfits worn were from UK UK (ukay-ukay). You can definitely spot unique fashion finds there. I especially recommend hunting for "it" outfits that you can use for parties, photoshoots, events or what have you. There are air conditioned ukay-ukay shops in Fuente (opposite Robinsons Department Store), Coco Mall, Raintree Mall and near Colonade wherein the clothes are already sorted and hung for easier selection. I personally prefer these stores since I cannot literally "ukay" due to my Allergic Rhinitis. Believe me, you'll find treasures from these ukay-ukay shops. Branded clothes at a cheap price anyone? :)
